Alert Settings

All alerts are optional. Use the Enable toggle, sliders, and +/− buttons to configure thresholds and snooze times.

Three alert types are available: Low (at or below your set value), High (at or above), and No Data (no reading received within a set number of minutes).

Snoozing Basics — Press the top button once to snooze an active alert. Each alert has its own snooze duration. If the condition persists after the snooze, the alert triggers again.

Each alert includes a Test button. Tests respect Quiet Hours and active snoozes — if you don't hear the test, check your time zone, quiet hour settings, and the Remote Snooze menu.

Test your alerts weekly to confirm audio and vibration hardware are working.

Ascending AlertsEscalates audio and vibration intensity each minute until snoozed

Forces audio and vibration on, escalating each minute until snoozed: (1) vibration only → (2) vibration + low audio → (3) vibration + medium audio → (4) vibration + high audio.

When disabled, audio and vibration can be configured independently.

⚠️

The vibration puck must be plugged in when using Ascending Alerts, or you will miss the first vibration-only stage.

Audio AlertsChoose between random or standard tones, and set your preferred volume

Repeated identical alerts can be tuned out over time, especially during sleep. Random (recommended) uses randomly generated tones each time; Standard uses a consistent sound.

Volume is set in the app only — SugarPixel has no physical volume control. Use the Test button to compare low, medium, and high levels.

Vibration AlertsSilent physical alerts using the vibration puck accessory

Plug the puck into the back of SugarPixel and enable the Vibration option. Ideal for deaf or hard-of-hearing users, heavy sleepers, or any situation where audio isn't appropriate.

⚠️

If you prefer vibration-only alerts, Ascending Alerts are strongly recommended — audio will still play if the puck becomes unplugged. To maintain warranty coverage, Quiet Hours must be enabled to prevent extended vibration when alerts aren't being snoozed.

Visual AlertsFlashes the display between your normal screen and an inverted view

When enabled, the display flashes between your normal screen and an inverted color-coded view of your glucose value.

Auto SnoozeAutomatically snoozes an active alert after a set period of time

Automatically snoozes an active alert after a set time — useful if you're away from SugarPixel or forgot to disable alerts.
