SugarPixel does not connect directly to the CGM phone or device, it downloads the readings from internet servers. You can use Dexcom share, LibreLinkUp, Gluroo, or Nightscout. SugarPixel is untested with the BYOD apps or third party apps.
WiFi
SugarPixel connects to WiFi using the 2.4ghz frequency. This is the traditional standard frequency that has always been used. Some Wi-Fi routers may require you to separate the 2.4/5ghz Wi-Fi settings to create 2 network names. Many routers will also allow you to enable a dedicated 2.4ghz guest network. Mesh routers and others that cannot be configured with the above details may require you to add a low-cost 2.4ghz wifi router to your setup. These can usually be found for $20-40 online.
